A few updates

I took some pictures of my daughter when we took her fishing in Winona :) It was her first time and she caught two fishes! She was definitely pleased and now she asks every single day if we could go fishing, haha.

Family

Along with my engagement session, I had a family session! It went better than expected since it was supposed to rain that Sunday. Katie and Brian have the cutest little girl named Riley. She was a little shy at first but then she warmed up. I just love how children are carefree and full of happiness; Riley definitely is one of them :) Anyway, below are photos from the session.

Engagements 11'

I've been so 'photography-deprived' lately that it made me even more joy-filled to shoot my sessions yesterday! I actually wish I could of incorporated more of my ideas but I honestly was a bit nervous; I haven't had any time for sessions because of my busy schedule :(. So I kept the sessions simple and captured adorable moments from each session!

P.S., I am pretty comfortable when I shoot but with all the gorgeous people around me yesterday, it made me nervous!!

Anyway,
I had the pleasure of photographing Nang & Shiobhan's engagement photos yesterday.

Nang is actually my uncle so it was definitely nice to be able to photograph him and his soon to be wife :)

Time flies...

Hello all!

I’ve been so busy this year that I have forgotten all about my blog! I’ve been updating more on my official photography page on facebook. If you’d like to see new photos that I have taken, you can go to: MC photography.

I have definitely seen improvement in my photography since I laid hands on my slr last year. My main focus is on family, couples/engagement, children/newborn and maternity. I would love to expand my photography but I think I do best capturing precious moments in those categories J Also, I recently eloped in May 2011, will be expecting a baby boy this August 2011, and going to school this summer so I am quite a busy bee! Please bear with me as I update my portfolio!!

Busy little beee.

I've been soo busy!  I have finally made time to relax and edit photos :)  Here are some recent photos for the 365 day project :

My daughter's 3rd birthday was just yesterday!  It was a fun filled day; she'll probably talk about it for weeks, haha.  Anyway, I still need to develop my b&w film + some colored film.  I haven't had time to drop it off & even if I did, it would take me a while to pick them up due to such a busy schedule.  But I am slowly learning how to adjust to the new things I have in life and in noooo time, life shouldn't be too hectic :).  I was supposed to do a Charlie Chaplin inspired photoshoot but it hasn't happened yet :(  I'm still hoping to do it! There are so many things I want to do but my hands are so full!  If only the day could be sunny longer and if I had more hands.  Well stay tuned :) Thanks !  & have a great week, everyone.
