Old post.

I love what I do, I love editing and I love making people happy !  I just want people to see that I've put a lot of time and effort into what I love doing...  I feel like I am still a newbie at photography but I know my style, I know how to edit very well and I know what looks good and what doesn't.  :)

Anyway, I am veryyy excited for my weekend photo sessions!! The past two weeks, I was supposed to do 4 free mini sessions to build up my portfolio, but we had a blizzard in Rochester and also being very unorganized this month... I think I may be a little stressed?  Lol, I hope I can handle everything that I've brought upon myself.

So other than my photography life, MY life has been up and down... like a roller coaster!
My daughter will be having surgery after her 3rd birthday :/  I hope she'll recover good; it's her last surgery.  Her last heart surgery was when she was 6 months old... it was when she was a baby though.  I'm thinking she's going to want to pull her cords off but we are all going to stay optimistic, all well be fine.

SNOOOWW

The roads are slushh & mush buttttttt I love it ... its SNOW !  I am excited for my december photoshoots :).  Yesterday, the photoshoot went really well ; it was a 45 session turned into 30 minute. BUT I had just the right amount of shots !  Got a few of the family outside... when it was snowing =P  All in all, I think it went well... I hope they enjoy the photos & I hope to work with them again.  If you click on the link :[MC PHOTOG] you can view the photos on there too but I will be posting them on here because the pictures are better quality!  Have a great weekend, guys!

ohhh goodness!

Christmas is right around the corner ! I can't believe how fast November went by.  I wish Minnesota wasn't so cold... I don't mind the snow, its the cold!  But Anyway, I have two sessions tomorrow and I am sooo excited ; both sessions are family portraits :)  It'll be with my good friend's Aunt ; her family is sooo cute & my good friend Sammie!  Two weeks ago, I took family pictures of a friend & her family which I'll post up soon here... To those who voted !  I only had three votes in but honestly ... that makes me smile :)  As long as I know my photography isn't all that bad.  Anyway, today I had a G R E A T day !  I had a photoshoot today with Deanne & her fiance' + son .  Kayden (son) was such a great 'model'!!  He didn't complain much at all ; only about the cold.  It DEFINITELY was freezing out... but THANK GOD, no wind with snow involved :).  I had such a great time with them, I can't wait to do again.  Look out for the photos this coming up week<3

Photoshoot of Vincent & Davanee

I had a great day taking photos of Chanara's Babyloves!  Her son, Vincent was very shy at first but he warmed up towards the end.  It was definitely a great pleasure working with them.  Her daughter was just a doll!  I was hoping she'd sleep throughout her photoshoot but she was wide awake ; I'm glad she was awake, it made the photos more alive than just a photo of a sleeping, cute baby.  Lol.  It also looked like she was posing in the photos even though she is only a month old baby.  Anyway, here are some of the photos from that day... it was BEAUTIFUL and 1-2 days later we have SNOW!

On Facebook :)  Please give me some feedback on what you think & also please 'like' it if you enjoy my photography.  I was thinking about getting my own website; My fiancé's sister is a photographer as well & she says the websites $5 a month to $25 a month... maybe when I feel that I am actually beyond amateur then I'll expand it. Photography Name?

Soooo... I've been thinking (while editing my photos), I really want to name my photography work other than my first and last name initials... its a little boring don't you think (MCphotography)?  I was thinking something with the word Natural in it... because I love natural lighting, I love the natural-ness of people trusting me with my photography knowledge, ... etc lol .  I'll add on to this.  Let me know what you think from what you've seen in my photography<3

So much... soooo much

To do , l o l .  Today, I ran all around town to the thrifty-est stores.  I got a whole lot of props for the upcoming photoshoots.  Anyyyway -  As soon as I get back from work I have to edit a bunch of pictures + in the next few days (that I have off from work) I will be burning CDs that I promised to people.  So much... buttt I'm glad i'm staying busy. Sooo here are some photos from the weekend :

Beautiful November Afternoon

Today I took family pictures for my sister & her little family.  My nephew is the cutest little thing in the world!  I'll  post up pictures as soon as I get back home.  Anywayyy.  I am so excited this week; my last day of work is tomorrow then I start my new job on Friday.  I finally feel like my life is totally complete with no feelings of regret or unhappiness.  But... don't you just hate the feeling like when things are going great in your life, something will always get in the way of ruining your happiness?  I feel like it might happen but lets just hope it isn't soon...  Enoughhh of my emotional let down!  Have a good week , all !

Think of the first dance, music, food and everyone you love ...

I'll be at a wedding this Saturday doing my first paid wedding shoot (yayy).  One downfall is, I'll only get to take the reception part of the wedding.  But either way i'm siked!  I can't wait to show 'you guys' even though I don't have a lot of 'followers' , ha ha!  Anyway, I have so many family photoshoots to do and also a newborn shoot ! I'm sooo excited for all of them :)  I'm also going to see if I can find any good back drops in the twin cities this weekend.  My soon to be S.I.L. has such a cute back drop; I want a plain fabric black & white then also a patterned one :).  I'll update you guys soon <3

I had a mini session with an old friend's wittle toddler.  He was so photogenic and most definitely adorable. :)  The pictures turned out quite good, despite the sun that didnt want to stay up any longer.  Here are some :
